Is there a deadline for speaker submissions?

There’s no firm deadline for nominations, as our team looks for speakers year-round. The sooner you submit your nomination, the better.
What are you looking for in a 99U speaker?

99U speakers should have a compelling story to tell, unique insights to share, and demonstrated experience speaking to creative audiences. Past 99U speakers include design and business leaders, artists, researchers, and educators.
What are the 99U talk formats?

Main Stage talks: these talks are 20-minute, thesis-driven keynotes, delivered on our main stage at Alice Tully Hall for an audience of 1,000 creatives.

Workshops: 99U workshops are 90-minute, highly interactive sessions, delivered across our campus to breakout audiences of 45-200 attendees.

Master Classes: 99U master classes are 60-minute, lecture-style explorations of a specific topic, delivered across our campus to breakout audiences of 75-300 attendees.
How can I check on the status of my submission?

Unfortunately, we cannot respond to every nomination individually due to the high volume of submissions, but if our team is interested in learning more, we’ll reach out to the contact email provided.
Can I nominate myself?
